The Novice Team are called the Shadows. They can be a team of 12 to 16 with up to 4 alternates, but it looks like we will have the full 16 this season. They are aged between 10 and 15yrs.
This season we will be skating to a new routine with the theme of 'circus' including music by Brittney Spears and Christina Aguillera. This is a great combination and the girls' are really looking forward to their first outing at Dumfries in October followed by the British Championsips in November. We will wear a pink and blue dress with a circus theme.
We hope we will follow last year's success with more this year. Last year was a fantastic one for us as we won both the IJS British Championships and the British Synchronised Skating Champioships. This followed 2 silvers the previous year, which also included an excellent win at s'Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands and an invite to skate in Moscow in which we came a credible 8th out of 15.
We are hoping to manage a trip abroad this year as well.
