Sherwood Sprites

The Sherwood Sprites are our youngest team comprising of skaters aged between 6 and 10 years of age. They had much success last year (2008) competing at Dumfries, Altrincham and Sheffield. Skating to Cliff Richard's Living Doll, they quickly became remembered within the synchronised skating world, and went on to win two awards (Most Entertaining and Most Memorbale Performance) at the British Open Synchronised Skating Competition at Sheffield. This season the Sprites are working hard on their new routine, which promises to offer all the cuteness of their previous year's skate!

Loxley Foxes

The Loxley Foxies or 'Loxlies' are fast becoming one of our dark horse teams: pulling everything out of the bag when it matters! Although they have only been established for about a year, the Loxlies skated to Bronze medal at the Scottish Open Championships and Silver at the Altrincham Open (being pipped to Gold by the Rocking Robins) treating spectators to a fast paced routine to Duffy's 'Mercy'. This season they are preparing hard for future competitions and promise a routine that offers the drama and pace, that has become expected from the team.

The team manager for the elementary teams is Tina Byrom who wishes she could skate half as well as those she manages!!
